Plattsburgh, NY - The family of Virginia L. "Ginger" Rocheleau, 85, of Plattsburgh, announces that she passed away peacefully June 21, 2025, in Plattsburgh. She was born in Brooklyn, Oct. 28, 1939, to Walter and Evelyn (Hemingway) Lehman. Virginia married Robert Rocheleau, Sept. 3, 1960, in St. Mary's Church.
She is survived by her husband Robert Rocheleau, her children, Robert Rocheleau Jr. and spouse Heather Rocheleau of Plattsburgh, N.Y., Scott Rocheleau and spouse Sheila Rocheleau of Holiday, Fla., Todd Rocheleau and spouse Annelies Rocheleau of Plattsburgh, N.Y., Michelle Rocheleau of Orlando, Fla., and her brother Allen Lehman and spouse Darlene Lehman of Swanton, Vt.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents Walter Lehman and Evelyn Hemingway, and her brother Ronald Lehman.
A Time of Reflection will be held Tuesday, July 1, 2025, from 4 to 6 p.m., in the Brady & Levesque Funeral Home in St. Albans. A Remembrance Gathering will be held Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 11 a.m., in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
As an alternative to flowers, memorials may be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
