Veronica E. (Terry) (Reeves) Brasdat, 72, of Stratton Hill Road, West Chazy, passed away on Oct. 20, 2016, at the CVPH Medical Center.

Veronica was born in Plattsburgh on Sept. 4, 1944, the daughter of Mitchel and Aline (Bechard) Terry.

Veronica graduated from Chazy Central Rural School, class of 1963. In the fall, she attended Our Lady of Victory School in Plattsburgh where she received her secretarial degree. In 1965, Veronica began her 36 year career at Ayerst Pharmaceuticals. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Purchasing Department in Rouses Point, retiring from Pfizer Pharmaceuticals in 2001. Following her retirement, Veronica worked for the Town of Chazy as secretary for various departments.

She enjoyed sewing in her early years and most recently enjoyed reading, crocheting, and knitting. Her passion in life was her loving family.

Survivors include her husband, who she married on Nov. 22, 1990, Kurt Brasdat of West Chazy; son, David Reeves of West Chazy; two stepdaughters, Brigitte Northrup and her husband Dean of South Dakota and Elizabeth Barcomb and her husband Todd of Chazy; her mother, Aline Terry of Rouses Point; five sisters and four brothers-in-law, Norma Monty of Plattsburgh, Vivian and Gilles Bleau of Mount Laurier, Que., Janice and Robert St. John of Champlain, Agnes and Rick Beavers of North Pole, Alaska, and Denise and Donald Thibodeau of Peru; four grandchildren, David, Nika and Cheyenne Reeves and Chase Barcomb; one great-grandchild, Raelynn St. Germaine and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Elmer Reeves, father, Mitchel Terry, son, Jamie Reeves and brother-in-law, Gordon Monty.

At Veronica's request, there will be no public calling hours or funeral services.
