Verda Ann Waterhouse Obituary

Verda Ann Waterhouse (Nichols) born Oct. 30, 1933, deceased Jan. 10, 2025. Beloved mother of Karen Salka and husband Thomas, Adam Waterhouse and wife Denise, and David Waterhouse and wife Melanie. Beloved grandmother of Jacob Salka and partner Laura Carmichael, Joseph Waterhouse and wife Danielle, Katie Fanizza (née Waterhouse) and

husband Johnny, and Matthew Waterhouse. Beloved great-grandmother of Lennon Salka, Ferris Carmichael, and Cameron and Grayson Waterhouse.

Previously, Verda deeply enjoyed working as a secretary for Trinity Episcopal Church, as well as a secretary in the Nursing office at CVPH. Here she loved her interactions with the staff, remembering everyone's names by heart. Verda was a warm and loving person with her family, friends, and acquaintances. All who met her knew her as a kind and caring individual. We are all blessed having Verda in our lives.

There will be no calling hours; there will be a service at Trinity Episcopal Church in Plattsburgh, NY, on Wednesday, January 15, 10:00 a.m. An informal reception will follow at the church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church, Plattsburgh, N.Y.

Arrangements are entrusted to Brown Funeral Home. Online condolences may be offered at www.brownfuneralhomeny.com
