TJ Mull enlisted in the USAF in 1963. Amongst many locations, his first of three times assigned to Plattsburgh Air Force Base, is when he met his wife and married in 1967. During his tenure with the Air Force, he was stationed and served one tour in Korea, assignments in Vietnam, Japan, Turkey, North Dakota, and North Carolina. He retired after 21 years of honorable service to our country.
Many of North Country residents got to know Tom from his 21 years of auto sales and many weekends and days off at the Barrack's Golf Course. He was an impressively avid reader and crossword puzzle enthusiast. And, he might have been fond of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
