Theresa A. Bodah, 71, of Altona passed away Sunday, Jan. 19, 2025 at her home.

Theresa was born July 1, 1953, the daughter of the late Wilfred and Eva (Rasco) LaFountain, in Plattsburgh.

Theresa worked as a Mental Health Tech at CVPH in Plattsburgh. She was a devout Christian and loved her cats.

Theresa is predeceased by her husband, Joseph M. Bodah III on Sept. 22, 2011. She is also predeceased by her parents; brothers, Art LaFountain and Clifford LaFountain; sister, Agnes Barber; brothers-in-law, Raymond Barber and Thomas Petrashune; and son-in-law, Kyle Broadwell.

Theresa is survived by her sons, Jason Bodah of Mooers and Vincent and Angela Bodah of Champlain; daughters, Sherry Broadwell of Morrisonville and Gena Dupee and Jason of Mooers; sisters, Jeanette Petrashune of Saranac and Helen Underwood and Bobby of West Chazy; five grandchildren, Justin Bodah, Luke Broadwell, Richard McGrath, Brynn Dupee and Timothy Dupee; a sister-in-law, Joanne Bodah; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held Monday, Jan. 27, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Ross Funeral Home in Mooers. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at the Church of the Assumption in Redford on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2025 at noon. Interment will take place in the spring.

A donation may be made in memory of Theresa to the Alzheimers Association.
