Terry Lee Smith, 63, of Bradley Beach, N.J., passed away on Oct. 11, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on Jan. 25, 1960, daughter of Harold "Sonny" and Shirley (Drown) Smith.

Terry retired as an IT Coordinator with TIAA-CREF in New York City after more than 40 years of service. During this time, she lived in various cities in New York, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey, until settling in Bradley Beach where she enjoyed the beautiful view of the ocean and time at the beach daily. Most recently, she moved north to spend her final days with her family. Terry especially loved time spent with her family, friends, and neighbors. Whether having a glass of red wine, getting a manicure or pedicure, relaxing on the beach, or collecting purple (her favorite color) depression glass, Terry cherished all those memories. No matter how sick she became, Terry always set aside her own problems and wanted to know how your health issues were.

Terry served on the condo committee where she resided and was also an airplane pilot. She enjoyed taking the plane with her friend to Pennsylvania for bike rides in the country for the day along with flying home to Ellenburg to see her family. She also loved to go kite surfing. She was an avid traveler and some places she enjoyed the most were Aruba, St. Lucia, Mexico, Costa Rica, Florida, Arizona, Las Vegas, and Atlantic City.

Terry will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.

Survivors include her mother, Shirley Smith; siblings, Todd (Cindy) Smith, Timothy (Judy) Smith, and Tina (Patrick) Silver; nieces and nephews, Dustin Smith, Tyler (Amanda) Smith, Jesse Smith (Alisha Hudson), Jordon (Amber) Smith, Colton Smith, and Richard Silver; and great-nieces and nephews, Hayzelle and Ivy Smith, Carissa Giroux, and Cassidy and Cohen Smith. Terry also leaves behind numerous families in New Jersey and New York, whom she loved as much as her North Country family.

Terry was predeceased by her father; paternal grandparents, Herbert and Mae Drown; maternal grandparents, Wilfred and Florence Smith; uncle, David Baxter; and her loving Rottweiler, Inga.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 15th, from 12 to 2 p.m. at the Rabideau Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2 in the funeral home chapel followed by entombment in the Town of Ellenburg Mausoleum.
