Friends from age four when we raced our tricycles up and down Margaret Street, rides in her Mom’s convertible and often a nice lunch at the Fife and Drum at the magnificent Witherill Hotel are some of my finest memories I have of Sue. Graduation from Saint John’s Academy sent us on different paths. Later on we connected on her trips to Plattsburgh when she discussed her well written and entertaining book about the aforementioned Witherill.
And so, unto we see each other once again, I ask our Lord to keep you safe. God Bless you, Sue, and know that you will always be in my daily prayers.

Knew Sue in our High School years "54 and "55 and spent lots of time together. A wonderful friend in those times. Lost touch until last year and reconnected at her lecture in Plattsburgh, NY about her family hotel, "The Witherill ", a Plattsburgh landmark. She was still the vivacious girl that I was close to in the 50's. and my wife Lucie had some fun times remembering the past. Shocked that she passed so quickly and we both miss her and will always cherish our recent contacts. All who knew her will be sorry that a one of a kind person is gone.

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.
Tree Planting Timeline
Orders placed in:
January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
