Ocala, Florida - Steven Paul Mascia, 75, passed away on Aug. 11, 2025. He is survived by the love of his life of forty years, Marilyn Mascia of Plattsburgh, N.Y., his daughter and her husband, Stacey (Mascia) and Lee Susice of Malone, N.Y., his sisters, Karen (Mascia) Reynolds of Plattsburgh, N.Y., Pamela Barcomb of Champlain, N.Y., sister-in-law, Julie Mascia of Clarksburg, W.Va., and beloved nieces and nephews.

Steven was born July 27, 1950, in Platttsburgh, N.Y., and was predeceased by his parents, Joan (Prentice) and Armondo Mascia of Plattsburgh, N.Y., his sister Tammy Cannarile of Peru, N.Y., his brother Keith Mascia of Clarksburg, W.Va., and a son who died in childhood, Corey Fountain of Plattsburgh, N.Y.

He loved his Jack Russells, The Beach Boys, Bread, and the Bee Gees, martial arts, and Italian cuisine. His Christian faith was strong, and he shared that with many others. His sense of humor carried him through his service in Vietnam, earning him the nickname "Jerry (Lewis)" from his fellow service members. A proud member of the Marine Corp., he was wounded, received a Purple Heart, and when he returned to the States, he became the North Country representative of the Vietnam Veterans of America, advocating for his fellow veterans. A military service will be held for the family in Florida. "May his memory be a blessing."
