Shane Stephen Anello, son of Margo and John Anello, died on Aug. 9, 2023, in Puyallup, Wash. He was born in Delhi, N.Y., on Nov. 2, 1975. A service will be held on Oct. 8, 2023, at 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church at 1045 Wicker St., Ticonderoga, NY 12883, with a reception to follow. The family asks that any memorials take the form of donations to an educational trust for Shane's two sons. Checks should be made out to Shane's parents, John and Margot Anello, and sent to: Trail North FCU, 1178 NYS Rt. 9N, Ticonderoga, NY 12883.
