Montreal, Quebec - Robert V. Venne, age 75, passed away Nov. 15, 2025, at Sacre Coeur Hospital in Montreal.

Born March 11, 1950, in Ticonderoga, N.Y., he was the son of the late Vernon and Eilleen (Perry) Venne.

Bob was a graduate of Moriah Central School as well as New York State Ranger School in Wanakena, N.Y. He was a machinist for Creo Pack until his retirement.

His passions were going to Riverview, forever working on the old house and barn, enjoying his collection of priceless treasures (Venne tradition) and enjoying the Wilds of Riverview.

Bob is survived by his sons, Vernon and Warren of Montreal, Mary Angel Furtado, his brothers Barry (Donna) of Saratoga and Brian of Port Henry, his sister Mary Kay (Mike) of Ballston Spa, his aunt Mary Ellen Lawton of Plattsburgh, his uncle Ron Perry of Anchorage, Alaska, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours will be held Sunday, November 23rd, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Urgel Bourgie Funeral Home at Cote-de-Liesse Rd. in Montreal. A funeral Mass will be held Monday, November 24th, at 10 a.m., Transfiguration of Our Lord at Rue Filion, Montreal.

At Bob's request, burial will take place in the Church of Assumption Cemetery in Redford, N.Y., in the spring.
