Robert Victor
Robert Victor Russell, 68, of the Soper Road, Keeseville, died Monday, Feb. 10, 2020, at the UVM Health Network, CVPH in Plattsburgh, with his loving family by his side.
He was born in Plattsburgh, Jan. 10, 1952, the son of the late Henry and Catherine (Gumlaw) Russell.
Bob worked for Forrence Orchards and more recently at Willsboro Wood Products until his declining health forced retirement.
He loved time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Left to cherish the memory of Bob are his loving wife, Carol Russell, who he married Nov. 18, 1978, in Keeseville; children, Corey Russell (Cindy Hemingway), Mathew Russell (Bobby Racette), Deanna Russell (Dalton Everist), Terry St. Germaine (Doreen St. Germaine); grandchildren, Robert L. Russell and Paige Russell; chosen grandchildren, Carol Ann Prim, Neveah Racette, and Riley Dashnaw; siblings, John Russell, David Russell, and Lolly Steffen; special people, sister-in-law, Diana Busha; special nephew, Jason Bradley; adopted son, Rodney McCray; also as well as several other nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters-in-law, Virginia and Lucille Russell.
Relatives and friends may call Thursday, Feb. 13, 2020, from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 124 Clinton Street, Keeseville. A funeral service will follow in the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be held in the spring in St. John's Cemetery in Keeseville.
