Robert F. Laurin, 71, of Champlain, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2024, at the UVM Health Network - CVPH, Plattsburgh, with his loving family by his side.

He was born in Plattsburgh on Dec. 7, 1952, the son of Francis and Rita (Pilger) Laurin.

Robert was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He loved to hunt, fish, spend time at the lake camping with family, going to garage sales, taking short trips to the coast, and spending time with Debbie in Myrtle Beach.

Left to cherish his memory is a daughter, Michele Laurin, a son Jason Laurin and his wife, Christina, five grandchildren, Madison (Carrie), Kali, and Rachel Bushey; Gillian, and Ava Laurin; and sister, Sue LaBelle; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Deborah (Babbie) Laurin; and sister, Jeannine Laurin.

A Celebration of Robert's life will be held on Wednesday, August 14th, at 1 p.m., at the American Legion in Rouses Point, N.Y.
