Robert "Bob" Donah Obituary

Robert Donah, 80, of Route 374, passed away Oct. 2, 2022.

He was born on Sept. 28, 1942, son of Wilfred and Esther (King) Donah.

Bob married the former Constance Chilton on Aug. 27, 1966, in St. Edmund's Church.

He worked as a correctional officer and retired from Lyon Mountain Correctional after 37 years of service.

Bob was a generous and giving man who was very involved with his community and neighbors. He was also a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus. Bob was an avid golfer in years past, enjoyed going hunting and fishing, and was a member of the Big Horn Hunting Club for over 50 years.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Connie Donah; sons, Robbie (Stacie) Donah and Jim (Cindy) Donah; his granddaughters, Savannah Donah and Mikailah (Jake) Mulady; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Bob was predeceased by his parents and siblings, Bernice and Donald.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 5th, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Rabideau Funeral Home in Ellenburg. A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Thursday at 11 a.m. in St. Bernard's Church in Lyon Mountain. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.

Donations in his memory may be made to the Lyon Mountain Fire Department.
