Richard C. Rabideau Jr., 69, of Standish Road, passed away on July 28, 2024.

He was born in Plattsburgh on Nov. 9, 1954, the son of Richard and Lillian (Furnia) Rabideau.

Richard graduated from Northern Adirondack Central High School and then went on to serve in the United States Air Force from 1974 to 1977.

He was a member of St. Peter's Swamp Mavericks, American Legion Post 1623 and Labor Union 186.

Richard enjoyed hunting, fishing and most of all spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include his sisters, Dianne Olson of Standish and Lorri Beer of Troy; brothers, Terry (Patricia) Rabideau and Ricky (Kathy) Rabideau all of Standish; nieces, Kristen (Joshua) Parker, Hailey Parker, Kali Parker and Lia Parker, Ashleigh (Nick) Beer-Vineyard and Haley and Kailee Calloway and nephews, Dr. Jacob (Colleen) Beer and Joshua (Sadie) Rabideau. Richard also leaves behind additional nieces and nephews, Bryan, John, Sarah, Amanda, Lindsay, and Charlie.

He was predeceased by his parents and brother, Jerry Rabideau.

A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 1st, at 10 a.m. in St. Bernard's Church in Lyon Mountain. Family will begin greeting guests at 9 a.m.

Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
