Randy A. Nugent
Randy A. Nugent, 60, of the Goodspeed Road, Plattsburgh, passed away peacefully on Friday, Dec. 06, 2019, at his home under the loving care of his family and Hospice of the North Country.
He was born in Plattsburgh on Nov. 11, 1959, the son of Charles and Cecile (Bovin) Nugent.
Randy attended Peru Central School and served in the U.S. Army from 1976 to 1978. Following his military service he worked as a mechanic and electrician. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and was a founding member of the U.R.M.C.
Survivors include his daughter, Samantha Lillie and her husband, Jeramee of Coventry, R.I.; son, Nicholas Nugent and his companion, Holly Casala of San Antonio, Texas; brother, Richard Nugent of Plattsburgh; sister, Sharon Nugent of Burke; five grandchildren, Alexandra, Austin, Nicholas, Jr., Faith and Liam; as well as several nieces, nephews and good friends.
In addition to his parents, Randy was predeceased by his nephew, Richard Nugent, II of Peru.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2019, from noon to 2 p.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. Burial will follow in St. Augustine's Cemetery, 3035 Main Street, Peru.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Randy A. Nugent may be made to Hospice of the North Country.
