Pearl Lorraine Tourville, 90, of Steam Mill Road, was gently lead home by Jesus on Aug. 30, 2022.

She was born on Nov. 16, 1931, daughter of George and Margaret (Coon) Senecal.

Pearl married Gordon W. Tourville on Nov. 25, 1949, at St. Edmund's Church in Ellenburg. He predeceased her on July 11, 1988.

She then spent the next 35 years in her little home on West Hill, where she spent her days tending to her gardens and pets. She enjoyed her life.

Mom was tough as nails, feisty, and witty, but most of all, loving and a fighter to the end. She really did do it her way.

She spent her last years with her daughter Laurie where she was adoringly cared for every day.

Before coming ill she was a proud member of the Catholic Daughters and the Altar and Rosary Society.

She was a guiding mom to Gordon (Juanita), William, Thomas (Theresa), Catherine (John), Laurie, and David (Cindy). She was also a wonderful grandmother to Aaron, Scott, Bryan, Brad, Dawn, Amanda, Jessica, and Jauni. She loved being a great-grandmother and a great-great-grandmother.

Pearl was also predeceased by her son Bill; infant son, Francis; brother, Eddie; and sisters, Helen and Evelyn.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, Sept. 2, 2022, at 12 p.m. in St. Edmund's Church. Entombment will follow in the Town of Ellenburg Mausoleum.
