Patrick Mitchell, 69, died peacefully Saturday, July 20, 2024.
Born in Plattsburgh March 17, 1955, son of the late Donald and Dora (Miner) Mitchell.
Patrick joined the New York State Police in 1978, retiring as Senior BCI Investigator in 2011.
Survivors include his wife Lee Anne; daughter Courtney, her partner Jon Seguin; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Ann (Winston) Lawliss, Tina (Tom) Oddi; sisters-in-law, Maureen Mitchell and Rita Mitchell; several nieces and nephews.
Patrick was predeceased by his brothers Donald, Anthony, John Mitchell; sister-in-law Catherine Mitchell and his beloved dog, Bear.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 24th, from 4 to 6 p.m. at R.W. Walker Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday, July 25th, at 10:30 a.m. at St. John's Church in Plattsburgh.
