Plattsburgh, NY - Pamela Jean Ryan, 60, of Plattsburgh, N.Y., passed away in Burlington, Vt., at UVM Medical Center. She was born on Aug. 2, 1965, in Plattsburgh. She was a graduate of Plattsburgh High School, where she was inducted into the PHS athletics Hall of Fame, and earned her master's degree from UMass Amherst in Exercise Science. She then worked at CVPH Medical Center as a cardiac rehab specialist, where she healed and touched so many lives.

Pamela enjoyed gardening, antiquing, and spending time with her two dogs, Chloe and Cowboy. She loved the music of Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac and enjoyed watching New York Yankees baseball games.

Pamela is survived by her son, Mitchell Ryan; her mother, Dora Leopard; her father, Billy Joe Leopard and his partner Pearl Mabry; her brother, Mark Leopard and his wife Dawn, as well as several aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins. She is predeceased by her infant brother, Michael.

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Monday, May 18, 2026, at R.W. Walker Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. Burial will be private at Independence Cemetery in Saranac, N.Y.
