Myrtle P. Siskavich
A Mass of Christian burial for Myrtle Siskavich was celebrated at St. Bernard's Church, Lyon Mountain, on Thursday, April 4, 2019, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Todd Thibault officiating, concelebrated by Rev. Ted Crosby who gave the homily, Rev. John Looby, Rev. John Demo and Rev. William Reamer, assisted by Deacon Brian Dwyer, Deacon Gerald Savage, Deacon John Levison, Deacon Dennis Monta, Deacon Mark Bennett, Deacon Kevin Mastellon and Deacon John Dollette and altar server, Jim Kowalowski. Music was provided by Bernard Grogan and members of St. Bernard's Choir, Lana Gonyea, Edward Siskavich, Joan Farrell, Joann Kaska-Templin, Daniel Cayea, John Golovach and William Chase. Myrtle's daughters, Mary Poitras, Janet Collins, Eva Parsons, Veronica Siskavich-Demers, Sandy Derr and Cathy Young sang a special song as well as her grandson, Blake Siskavich. The pallbearers were her sons, Bernard Siskavich, Francis Siskavich Jr., Peter Siskavich, along with Mike Boyea, Corey Nephew, Dewayne Turner and William Chase. The pall was placed by her thirteen children, Bernard, Paula, Francis, Jr,, and Peter Siskavich, Kathleen Young, Anna Morey, Margaret Pittman, Mary Poitras, Rita Benjamin, Janet Collins, Eva Parsons, Sandra Derr, and Veronica Siskavich-Demers. The Crucifix was placed by her son, Francis Siskavich Jr. The Bible was placed by her husband, Francis Siskavich. The readings were done by her nieces, Lynne Sheehan and Karen Oehler. The gifts were presented by her brothers, Robert and Donald Pageau. The family remarks were given by her son, Peter Siskavich.
Spring burial will be held in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Lyon Mountain.
