Muriel Henrietta Bouyea of Lake Forest Drive in Plattsburgh, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2025, at CVPH Medical Center with her loving family by her side. She was born on June 18, 1931, the daughter of Jud and Marie (Pageau) Lancto.
Henrietta was a lifelong communicant of St. Peter's Church. She enjoyed playing golf, bowling, traveling with family, and more recently playing bingo, Uno, and listening to music at Lake Forest Retirement Community.
Henrietta was predeceased by her parents and her husband, George E Bouyea in 2024, her brothers Mr. Jud (Jane) Lancto, Mr. Robert (Lorraine) Lancto, Mr. Gerald (Betty) Lancto, and one sister Mrs. John (Theresa) Duquette, her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Mrs. Harold (Rita) Healey, Mrs. Joseph (Thelma) Jeffries, Mrs. Ralph (Beulah) Cardinal, Mrs. John (Theresa) Dos Passos, Mrs. Donald (Jeannine) Clemons, Leander A., Jr (Marjorie) Bouyea, and Donald (Helen) Bouyea. She is survived by her children, George J. (Susan) and Paige B. (Brian) Raville and many nieces and nephews.
Her family would like to send a special thank-you to the nurses and aides on R-5 at CVPH for their compassionate care, to the community at Lake Forest, and heartfelt thanks to her caretakers, Eva and Gail, for making her life so much richer.
Calling hours will be held Thursday, March 20th, 2025, from 9-10A.M. at St. Peter's Church. A mass of Christian burial will follow at 10 A.M. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lake Forest Activity Fund at 8 Lake Forest Dr. Plattsburgh, NY 12903 or to a charity of one's choice. Arrangements are entrusted to Brown Funeral Home.
