Maxine Alice Fehr Obituary
Maxine Alice Fehr, 81, formerly of Plattsburgh, was welcomed into heaven with great celebration on March 31, 2025.
She was born on Dec. 13, 1943, daughter of Alice and Robert Hofmann and married Eugene Fehr on Aug. 12, 1967, in Syracuse, N.Y.
After graduating from LeMoyne College with a degree in English, Maxine had a career in Elementary education until the birth of her children.
Maxine selflessly gave her life to serving the Lord and loving others. Her impact was felt worldwide. She brought comfort, support, and encouragement to everyone she met. Each conversation was an opportunity for a blessing or gift; letting you know she heard you, she saw you, and she loved you.
While we mourn her loss, we rejoice in knowing that she is now in the arms of her Savior and loving husband.
"For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are temporary, but the things that are unseen are eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:17-18
Maxine is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Fehr. She is survived by her three children, Kyle Fehr of Healdsburg, Calif., Alissa Fehr of Austin, Texas, and Nicole Howells of Smithville, Texas, along with her grandchildren, Amelia and Cullen Leenher.
