Margaret M. "Maggie" Reome, age 98, of Morrisonville, passed away on Wednesday, July 17th, 2024, at UVHN:CVPH Medical Center. She was born Sunday, May 30th, 1926, in Standish, N.Y., the daughter of Frank LaPorte and Arisia (Clark) LaPorte.

Maggie worked at Pal Blade and Hydro Molding in Plattsburgh. She retired from the housekeeping department at CVPH Medical Center. She was a faithful member of St. Alexander's Church and carried a deep faith. Her church and her family meant everything to her. If there were two places you could guarantee seeing her, a family gathering and Mass were a sure bet. Maggie was an avid bowler, retiring her game at the prime age of 90. She loved her N.Y. Yankees and could confidently claim herself as their most loyal fan. Her laughter and jest was contagious; her lively spirit earned her a recent description of "firecracker."

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Provost and her husband Frank; daughter-in-law, Toni Reome; grandchildren, Dan, Christina, Laurie, April and Scott; nine great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her parents; 11 siblings; husband, Bernard Reome Sr.; her son and daughter, Bernard Reome Jr. and Betty O'Neill; grandaughter, Tonya Couture; great-great-grandaughter, Hazel Reome.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, from 10:30 a.m to 12:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will take place at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at St. Alexander's Cemetery.
