M. Elizabeth Brown of McColloms, N.Y., passed away on March 31, 2020, at the age of 107.
She was born Feb. 22, 1913, the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Roy Stephenson of Malone, N.Y. She attended Franklin Academy in Malone, N.Y., and graduated from Cornell University in 1935.
Elizabeth was married to Dr. Robert F. Brown of Bangor, N.Y., on July 20, 1936. They lived in Plattsburgh, N.Y., where Dr. Brown established the Plattsburgh Animal Hospital.
She is survived by her three sons: Dr. Thomas Brown and wife Vaughan, Richard and wife Mary, Robert and wife Maureen and they all reside in McColloms, N.Y. Elizabeth is also survived by nine grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. There will be no calling hours. A celebration of her life will take place at a later date.
