Plattsburgh, NY - Major Edgar C. George Sr., 88, of Charlene Drive, Plattsburgh, passed away on April 8, 2025, at his home with his loving family by his side and under the care of Hospice of the North Country.
Major Edgar C. George retired from active service as a minister in The Salvation Army in 2001.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 10 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life service at 11 a.m. at the Turnpike Wesleyan Church.
Interment will follow at the West Plattsburgh Union Cemetery.
