Loyal C. ''Buck'' Burns Obituary
LOYAL C. ''BUCK'' BURNS, 95, of Meadowbrook Healthcare Facility and formerly of Boynton Avenue, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012, with his family by his side. He was born in Chazy, N.Y. on August 31, 1917, the son of Matthew and Grace (Gordon) Burns. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, Oct. 25, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home. A Mason service will be held at 6:30 p.m., followed by an Elks Service at 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 12 Noon at the United Methodist Church in Plattsburgh. Burial will followed in Riverside Cemetery with Military Honors. Donations in his memory may be made to the CVPH Heart Center, in care of the CVPH Medical Center Foundation, 75 Beekman St. Plattsburgh, N.Y. 12901. Arrangements are in care of the R. W. Walker Funeral Home, 69 Court Street, Plattsburgh.
