Lawrence H. Bulris, 89, of Plattsburgh, passed away on Dec. 31, 2024 at the UVM Health Network-CVPH in Plattsburgh. He was born in Altona, N.Y. on May 8, 1935 , the son of Homer and Martha Bulris.
Larry was a bus driver for Beekmantown Central School for many years. He also owned and operated Bulris's used car on the Military Turnpike in Beekmantown. He enjoyed collecting antique cars and was of member of the antique car association.
Larry was predeceased by his parents, his brothers; Phil Martino and Robert Bulris and a son-in-law Gene Fessette.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years Phyllis Bulris, his children; Nancy Bulris-Rowell and her husband Stewart of Lake George, Joanne Fessette and her companion Richard Sorel of Plattsburgh, Timmy Bulris and his companion Elaine Lavarnway and Donna Bulris, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as his siblings; Louise Bordeau, Ellsworth (Margie) Bulris and Barbara (Steven) Deyo, a sister-in-law Doris Martino and Joanne Bulris, several nieces and nephews also survive him.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday Jan. 4, 2025 from 10:30 a.m. to Noon at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow at Noon. Burial will be later in Holy Angels Cemetery at a later date.
