Mrs. June Miller Scardaccione passed into the arms of Our Lord to once
again dance with her beloved husband, family and friends who have
predeceased her and have waited patiently for her company.
She was born to Gladys and Richard Miller in Plattsburgh and is survived by her three daughters, Deborah, Pamela and Kim along with eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her husband of 76 years, Edward Scardaccione (Scotty).
June was an active member of the community, working alongside her
husband, Scotty as co-owner of Lee Appliance. They enjoyed an early
retirement and lived the dream as Snowbirds in Florida and Plattsburgh.
They traveled extensively with family and friends and knew how to entertain
and have fun. She enjoyed bridge, tennis, golf and loved her Casino
adventures. We are sure the slot machines will miss her dearly, as do we.
There will be a Mass for June and Scotty in Plattsburgh at St. Peter's
Church on October 4th of this year. We were blessed with our parents for
many years and thankful for the hard work and dedication they modeled for
our family. They will be missed and will never be forgotten.
