John E. (Pop's) Forth, 63, died Sept. 3, 2011, at his home.. Born in South Glens Falls, June 12, 1948, he was the son of Frank and Yvonne (Constantineau) Forth.. On Jan. 19, 1985, he married the former Karen Gregoire in Dannemora, N.Y.; she survives, as well as two sons, Scott and Stacy of League City, Texas, Daniel and Cindy Forth of Charlotte, N.C.; one brother, Robert and Tina Forth of South Glens Falls, N.Y.; and three grandchildren, Margaret Yvonne, Peyton and Aja Forth; and five nieces; several cousins; and three aunts.. A graduate of South Glens Falls High School, Adirondack Community College and Siena College, he served in the U.S. Army during Viet Nam and was a correction officer at N.Y.S. Franklin Correctional Facility until his retirement in 2010. He also vended motorcycle lighting as Pop's Cycle LEDS.. He was a member of the National and Plattsburgh H.O.G. chapter and the American Legion Chapter 0001.. Funeral services will be Thursday, Sept. 8, 3 p.m. at the Spaulding Funeral Home in Malone, N.Y.. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the Burke Fire and Rescue.. Arrangements are by the Spaulding Funeral Home of Malone.
