We are so saddened to hear of Joan's passing. She was a beautiful and kind woman and the best friend to my mother Bea. When we moved to Peru she and Merritt were the first people to invite us to their home after church that Sunday. She continued to keep in touch with Mom (Bea) after they moved to Florida, keeping them up to date on the news happening in Peru. We will always remember Joan as a warm, caring and genuine person who will be in our hearts and in our best memories. Bea will miss her tremendously!! Our hearts and prayers are with each and every one of you!

My condolences to the Spear family on the passing of its matriarch. She and Merritt were dear friend to my mom, who worked for years as the Spear's housekeeper. Times spent at their house are some of the most cherished memories of my life. God bless and forever keep this wonderful lady, bless Merritt and her children and extended family.
