Jim,
My condolences to you and your family on Joan's passing! The two of you had a wonderful life together, and the pleasure of watching your family grow and succeed.
I remember well my nine years of working with you at BCS, and what a great leader that you were.

Dear Sears Family,
I’m so sorry for your loss. A great loss it is. Your Mom always took the time to ask about me and my day. I couldn’t have asked for a better “second mom” to grow up next to. I’m grateful I just got to see and visit with her and your Dad. My thoughts are with you all.
Love,
Carolyn

Oh my. We offer our deepest condolences to Jim and all the Sears family.
Joan was one of the great ones. She held a special spot in the hearts of my parents, Aunt Jean and Uncle Ron Smith. Whenever Joan and Jim, or any Sears were coming for a visit, it was a high time for celebration in our house. Always upbeat, always full of the latest family news, Joan was a beacon of happiness. I can not remember an unkind word coming from Joan. We are all bursting with memories of a grand lady. She will be missed by many, as she was loved by many.
We were all lucky to have her in our lives - and she was lucky to have Jim, and all her children and grandchildren, and great-grandchildren in her life. A li
...fe well lived.
Good Bye Sweet Cousin Joan, I have no doubt, the angels will be following you.

Dear Barb & Jeremy,

Please know that you and the entire Sears family are in our thoughts and prayers as you go through this difficult time. Your Mother was such a beautiful woman in many ways, and she had a heart of gold! I remember a time when a family was going through a serious financial hardship and she gave you money to bring to them so they could put food on their table. This is just one example of the many, many times she gave so selflessly. May God grant her eternal peace! We think of you often. Please come for a visit, our home is always open!

Love, Cathy & Bob
