At their 50th wedding anniversary celebration, they announced they were moving to the place where they had honeymooned, Williamsburg, Va. In 2014, Jean moved from Williamsburg to Plattsburgh, N.Y., to be closer to her daughter. She leaves behind many friends in all these places.
