James M. Phillips ("Frenchie") Obituary
James N. "Frenchie" Phillips, 72, of Westport, passed away unexpectedly on March 7, 2023, in Elizabethtown. He was born in Elizabethtown on Jan. 14, 1951, son of the late Norman and Marion (Nollette) Phillips.
James worked in Reber in his earlier years, went on to work for NYSDOT for over 25 years. After his retirement, he had his own excavation business for many years. James loved to take road trips with his wife Betty to the casino and Thousand Islands.
He leaves behind his wife of 27 years, Betty and many family members. He was preceded in death by a brother, John.
