Sheffield, Mass - Hannah Elizabeth Peabody of Sheffield, Mass., left this world peacefully on April 24, 2025, after a short illness, surrounded by family and friends.

Our sweet Hannah had a vivacious personality and a contagious joie de vivre. She sought out the flavor in life: delicious food, music, dancing, horseback riding, sharing a good laugh, and in "weaving up a storm!" as she would say.

She had a playful sense of style and loved to show off her colorful personality: rainbow hair, two different colored shoes on purpose, and a Christmas sweater on St. Patrick's day (why only wear it once a year?) were some of the many ways she enjoyed expressing herself.

A true social butterfly, she was quick to introduce herself to anyone she met and share her enthusiasm for life with those around her. The world is a brighter place for her having been here, and her sparkle will continue on with the many people she touched.

She had a very close relationship with her family: parents Maryphena and Mike, and her siblings Maeve and Asa, a large extended family and countless friends.

To be followed by food, stories and laughter (some of her favorite things) at the Sheffield town park pavilion, Frederic Ln., Sheffield, Mass.

The most central town to stay in is Great Barrington.

Also, on June 14th, 5 p.m., at the town pavilion in Keene, N.Y. This will be an informal gathering, sharing stories and food. Bring a dish to share.
