Gregory A. Dame, 68, of William St., Malone, died Saturday, July 08, 2017, at UVM Medical Center, Burlington, Vt.

Born on June 20, 1949, in Malone, N.Y., he was the son of Sylvenus and (Lillian) Delaney.

Greg graduated from Franklin Academy with the Class of 1969. He owned and operated Greg's deli and restaurant in Malone for many years. He was a communicant of Notre Dame Church and former member of the Elks. Greg loved music and baseball. He played in local bands including The Society for many years.

He is survived by two children, Narissa Dame and Nolan Dame, both of Las Vegas, Nev.; a brother and sister-in-law, David and Theresa Dame of Malone; a sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Thomas Chauvin of Malone; a sister-in-law, Annette Dame of Malone; an aunt, Mildred Clark of Malone; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents; two brothers, Leland Dame and James Dame in infancy; two sisters, Joan Lavoie and Teresa Dame.

There are no calling hours.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11, in Notre Dame Church.

Burial will take place at Notre Dame Cemetery.
