Lake Placid, Florida - Gloria T. Bennet, 82, of Lake Placid, Fla., died April 21, 2025, at Lake Placid Balmoral Senior Assisted Living.

Gloria was born in Minevile, N.Y., Aug. 1, 1942, to Anna and Benjamin Lopez.

Survivors include her daughter Patricia and Kurt Bultema of Lake Placid, Fla., and eight grandchildren, Dylan Dubrey, Loukas Dubrey, Rebecca Dubrey, Heather Bellion (Nathan) Joseph (Christine) Bennett, Justine Bennett, Erickson Bennet and Robbie Bennett. She also survived by four great-grandchildren: Kayden, Murphy Lou, Lincoln and Killian.

Gloria has three brothers and one beloved sister, Mike (Sharron) Lopez, Steve Lopez, Roman (Lola) Lopez and Carmen (Jerry) Dobbs.

Gloria was predeceased by her parents, husband (Earl), son (Ben), and two brothers, Ben and Ed.

Gloria was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and will be deeply missed. She will remain in the hearts and memories of all who knew and loved her. Gloria loved her Lord.

After a long and bountiful life, we rest easy knowing she is now in Father's arms and has joined her husband and son, and her entire heavenly family in the promised land.

A military burial will be held at the Veteran's National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla. (6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, Fla.)
