Ginette Eney, 81, of Fort Edward N.Y., passed away on Monday, Jan. 13, 2025, at the McClure Miller Respite House in Colchester V.T.

Born on Feb 2, 1943, in Montreal, Canada, she was the daughter of Jean-Jaques Bedard and Gilberth (St. Jean) Bedard.

Gigi graduated from St. Mary's Academy in Champlain in 1961. She entered the workforce and was employed in various jobs.

She married Renald Eney on Nov.20th, 1965. She raised three children and while they were in school, she went back to school at Adirondack

Community College and earned her associate's degree in nursing. She worked at Pleasent Valley Infirmary in Argyle for many years.

Gigi spent her time volunteering with the Catholic Daughters, the Glens Falls Hospital Guild and reading to elementary students at Fort Edward School. Students and staff

remember her for her kindness. Gigi loved to travel and volunteer. She also enjoyed sewing, knitting, reading, and baking.

Her most cherished time was time spent with friends and family, especially time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Gigi is predeceased by her parents and stepfather Jack Olsson.

Left to cherish her memory include her husband Renald Eney, daughter Angelique (Rick) Clark, son Kris (Mindy) Eney, son Brett (Ashley) Eney and sister Claude (William)

Letourneau. Grandchildren Brandon Eney, Mikaela Johanson, Allison Eney, Kenna Johnson, Carissa Osgood, and Noelle Eney. Great grandsons Quinton Quattrocchi and

Isaac Braid.

Her final days were spent surrounded by family playing cards and games, crafting, decorating gingerbread houses and reminiscing about her life and the beautiful memories

they will carry on of her. Her grandchildren shared that they have only good memories of her. Gigi's light and love was known by many and will always be remembered.

Friends may call on Saturday Jan. 25th from 12:00 to 2:00 at the M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 82 Broadway, Fort Edward N.Y. A memorial service will follow at the funeral home.

Burial will be in the spring at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Rouses Point.

Gigi requested that anyone in attendance to wear colorful clothing.
