Gerald Alan "Jerry" Piller, 83, of the Burnt Hill Road, Cadyville, was taken by our Lord to Heaven, Thursday, March 13, 2025 from the UVM Health Network, CVPH in Plattsburgh.

He was born on Long Island, October 4, 1941, the son of Joseph and Frances (Sedlacek) Piller.

Jerry had an associate's degree and worked as a tool maker for many years.

He was an avid outdoorsman, loving his fishing and shooting. He built and loved their home.

Left to cherish the memory of Jerry are, his loving wife and angel baby, Catherine (DiTucci) Piller; two sons, Thomas and Lisa Piller, and Kenneth Piller; a sister-in-law, Dorothy and husband, Steve LaMere; brother-in-law, Charles Di Tucci; four grandchildren, Jessica, Shelby, Marcie and Corey; and two great-grandchildren, Carley and Lily; 8 nieces and nephews; 26 great nieces and nephews; two brothers; and he also leaves his friends, Larry and Colleen Seney, and Jim and Brenda Glennon.

He was predeceased by his parents.

Calling hours will be held Sunday, March 16, 2025 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, March 17, 2025 at 11 a.m. at St. Augustine's Church in Peru. Burial will be in the spring in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Dannemora.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Saranac Rescue Squad.
