Gerald E. Nichols
A Mass of Christian burial for Gerald E. Nichols was celebrated at St. Edmund's Church, Ellenburg, on Friday, Aug. 16, 2019, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Todd Thibault officiating and concelebrated by Rev. Richard Colgan and assisted by altar server, Doug Trombley. Music was provided by organist Sheila Maneely and soloist Liz Guerin. The pallbearers were Marvin Clark, Paul Nichols, Allen Degon, Darrell Nichols, Lloyd Silver and Jeff Manor. The honor guard was his grandchildren, Kathleen and Jonathon Wilson, Cassandra and Aaron Dragoon, Joselyn and Nathan Allan, Kelby Gregory, Loyal Gregory, Elizabeth Nichols and Angel Bechore. The pall was placed by his children, Karen, Diane, Pamela, Greg, Julie Ann, Glenn, Christine, Gary and Gene. The crucifix was placed by his wife, Bernadette Nichols. Also serving as honor guard was Northern Adirondack Central FFA. The readings were done by Barbara Winter, Kim Bosley and Jane Nichols. The gifts were presented by Julie Nichols and Harry Bechore. The family remarks were given by his son-in-law, Deryl Gregory. Burial was held in Immaculate Heart Cemetery, Churubusco. Arrangements are with the Chateaugay Funeral Home.
