George James Fountain Obituary
George, 62, was born in Plattsburgh, N.Y., and after graduating from MAI in 1981, he relocated to Florida. George retired from the City of Palmetto in 2010. After his retirement, he enjoyed fishing, spending time with his dogs and watching football.
George is survived by his daughters, Erin(Matt), and Casey(Eddie) and their mother, Susan Fountain; his three grandchildren Logan, Savannah and Ryan; his parents George and Alice Fountain and his siblings, Sue(Paul), Patty(Dana), Dan(Eugenia), Mark(Tamara), Chris and Kevin(Jeanette). George is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on July 26, 2024 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 3100 26th Street West.
A graveside service will be held from 12 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. on July 26, 2024, at Manasota Memorial Park, 1221 53rd Avenue East.
A reception will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on July 26, 2024, at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home, 1221 53rd Avenue East.
