West Chazy, New York - Eric A. Sanger, 42, of the LaPlante Rd., West Chazy, passed away Thursday, Aug. 21, 2025, at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

He was born in Plattsburgh on Jan. 2, 1983, the son of Allen and Jannette (Corron) Sanger.

Eric attended Beekmantown Central School. He worked at the Press-Republican for many years, retiring due to illness. Eric's favorite job was working at Domino's where the perks of free meals was a great benefit. In his spare time, Eric enjoyed fishing, bowling, gaming and traveling.

Survivors include his son Matthew Provost of Plattsburgh; his daughter Mackenzie Sanger of Willsboro; his parents Allen and Jannette Sanger of West Chazy; his sister Ellen Rogers of West Chazy; two nephews, Ethan Rogers of West Chazy and Cameron Rogers of Potsdam; aunts and uncles Keith and Joyce Sanger, Shevawn and Bo Desso, Elonda Bryant, Joanne and Scott Aley, Anthony and Tonya Sanger, Lynette Corron, along with many cousins.

Eric was predeceased by his uncle, Jerry Corron.

Calling hours will be held Friday, Aug. 29, 2025, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.
