It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Denise C. Taylor on July 27, 2024, at her home in Rochester, N.Y.

Denise was born on Oct. 1, 1954, in Plattsburgh, N.Y., to Denis and Mary Taylor. She grew up in Pt. Au Roche, N.Y., attended and graduated from Beekmantown Central High School in 1972. Denise was a graduate of St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center School of Nursing. She spent her career at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, N.Y.

Denise was devoted to her faith as a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. She was an avid sports fan, particularly of tennis and the Buffalo Bills. As a loving grandmother, she attended the many activities of her three grandchildren.

Denise is survived by her two daughters, Bethany (Bill) Beiter and Kimberly Nauratil; her grandchildren Gabriel, Madelyn and Evan Beiter; and her partner Ed Nauratil. In addition, Denise is survived by her sisters, Catherine Taylor Green; Nancy Derider; Annette (Kevin) Taylor Hidook; and her brother Steven (Letitia) Taylor; along with several cousins, nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Aug. 6, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Rochester, N.Y. Internment will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
