Cadyville, New York - Darry Norcross, age 83, of Cadyville, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2026, at the Meadowbrook Healthcare surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Plattsburgh, N.Y., the son of Ralph and Verda (Smart) Norcross.

He grew up in Cadyville, N.Y., and graduated from Saranac Central School District and Plattsburgh SUC.

He married the love of his life, Beverly Bouyea, Aug. 16, 1969, and was employed at the Saranac Central School district for thirty-three years, retiring in 1998.

Darry is survived by his wife, Beverly and two sons, Kevin and his wife, Katie and their children, Kaden, Kye and Kali, Brian and his wife, Heather and their children, Ben and Cale.

A few of his fond memories are enjoying the many hours with his sons collecting baseball cards and other sports memorabilia. When the grandchildren came along he was in heaven and he continued his many fond memories going to many of their sporting events as possible and so very proud to be called grandpa.

Services will be private at the family's request.

There will be a celebration of life this Friday, July 24th, at the American Legion Post 1619 in West Plattsburgh at 2 p.m.
