Daniel L.
Daniel L. "Dan" Saucier, 57, of the Flat Rock Road, Morrisonville, died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2019, at The University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, Vt., with his loving wife by his side.
He was born in Bristol, Connecticut, Dec. 23, 1961, the son of Gilman and Mila (Wrisley) Saucier. Dan grew up in Cadyville and attended Saranac Central School. He enlisted in the United States Army and served until his honorable discharge in 1979.
Dan worked for the New York State Dept. of Corrections for many years until his retirement in 2015.
Dan enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and r/c cars, boats, and aircraft. He was a Ham radio operator and his handle was KC2AWR.
Left to cherish the memory of Dan are, his wife, Zorlanda (Gonyea) Saucier; his father, Gilman Saucier; brother, Randy Saucier; one niece; one nephew; one great-nephew; brother-in-law, Michael "Butch" (Diane) Gonyea; sister and brother-in-law, Yvette Gonyea and Dale Duprey; uncle, Paul (Joanne) Wrisley; aunt, Virginia Mitchell; and family friends, David and Joyce VanWeort, and Ida Bailey.
In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by sisters-in-law, Jennifer Saucier, Vickey Gonyea.
Calling hours will be held Friday, Nov. 22, 2019, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 1 p.m. in St. Alexander's Church in Morrisonville with Rev. Scott R. Seymour, parish priest, celebrating. Military honors will follow outside of the church. Committal prayers and burial will be held in the spring, in the parish cemetery.

So sorry for the loss of the family , Dan and I worked together for years, he was a one of a kind partner, I want the family to know, I still hear his laugh, he was nice to everyone may he rest and Peace, God Bless him!!
