Hyde Park, New York - Dale Charles Anderson, 73, a longtime resident of Hyde Park, N.Y., from West Chazy, N.Y. He was the son of the late Charles W. Anderson and Doris May Bromley-Anderson. Dale was a union carpenter before beginning his own business, Charles Custom Carpentry in Hyde Park, owner and operator for many years.

He enjoyed building classic cars and attending car shows. He and his wife, Ethel, shared a cross-country journey on his motorcycle, from Hyde Park to Las Vegas. Those memories lasted a lifetime as they laughed remembering the sunburn around their protective eyewear.

Dale is survived by his daughters Prudence D. Anderson and Sarah N. Anderson. Prudence (Prudie) her wife Marita reside in Plattsburgh, and Sarah and her partner Bill Clukey reside in Chazy. Grandchildren are Logan Charles and Nicholas. Dale's siblings Julie Stevens resides in Florida, Debbie and her husband John Helmer of Schuyler Falls, and James "Jimmy" and his wife Janeen of West Chazy. Dale had several nieces and nephews he loved and talked about often.

Dale is also survived by his stepchildren Tina McDonald of Red Hook, Cindy Niet of Staatsburg, and Sherman Kwant and Tracy of Hyde Park. Grandchildren include John-Patrick McDonald and Ann, Colleen Hodges and Warren, Crystal and Shawn Niet, Jessie Domenech and Anthony, and Andrew Kwant. Great-grandchildren include Kendrick, Lidia and Carson.

Dale's wishes were to be cremated with no services.
