Charles "Bruce" Ratliff, 71, of Baldwinsville passed away on Friday at Crouse Hospital after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Plattsburgh, N.Y., the son of the late Charles and Marion (Hogle) Ratliff. Bruce attended Beekmantown High School and completed his education at SUNY Canton. In 2002, he was awarded the Distinguished Alumni award from the college. In 1968 he came to Syracuse and starting working at SWC&F where he met his perfect match, Robyn. He retired as President of RL Woodcock & Associates in Syracuse and has resided in Baldwinsville for the past 20 years.

Bruce was passionate about golf and bowling for many years as a member of the A&E leagues. He loved watching and being involved in his sons' and grandchildren's activities. Bruce was an avid fan of SU basketball and football. He liked traveling, especially to Seabrook Island, S.C., to escape the Syracuse winters. Bruce had an unforgettable smile and quick wit that will never be forgotten. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Robyn (Wright) Ratliff of Baldwinsville, two sons, Tim Ratliff of Atlanta, Jon (Jen) Ratliff of Baldwinsville, four very special grandchildren, Kierin, Cade, Raegan and Carter, three sisters, Chris (Keith) Trombly, Debbie Ratliff and Carla (Kevin) Williams, three brothers, Jeff Ratliff, Don Ratliff and Mike (Pam) Ratliff and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID-19, no service will be held at this time. There will be a celebration of his life at a later date.
