Plattsburgh, NY - It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Carole Diane (Engleman) Sorrell on April 27, 2026, at the age of 81. She passed peacefully in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., surrounded by her loving children.
Carole was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, and a kind and dedicated presence in the lives of all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, John.
She is survived by her children Katie (Sorrell) Deutsch, Matthew Sorrell, Alison Sorrell, and Bridget (Sorrell) Sangiorgi, her five grandchildren, and siblings Ron Engleman and Earlene (Engleman) Reed.
Calling hours will be held at Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh on Monday, May 4th, from 4 to 7 p.m. and a Mass of Christian burial will be on Tuesday, May 5th, at St. Alexander's Church, Morrisonville at 11 a.m.
