Carol Ruth Sorrell, 79, of Morrisonville, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 17, 2024, at the Essex Center, Elizabethtown, with her loving family by her side.

She was born in Plattsburgh on Dec. 30, 1944, the daughter of John and Ethel (LaRock) Tripp.

Carol was a homemaker all her life. She enjoyed going for walks with her husband, Donald. Carol and Donald enjoyed bowling in several leagues for many years.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter and son-in-law, Brenda (Sorrell) and Lawrence Mousseau; her son, Michael Sorrell; her brother, Raymond Tripp; and three grandchildren, Dustin and Tami Mousseau, and Ryan Sorrell.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Donald Sorrell; brothers, Joe Tripp and Herbert Tripp; and sisters, Margaret (Tripp) Wood, Shirley (Tripp) Conners and Marion (Tripp) Badger.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024, from 11 a.m. to Noon. A funeral service will be held at Noon in the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William G. Reamer, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Alexander's Cemetery, Rand Hill Road, Morrisonville.
