Barbara J. ''Barb'' Kitchen Obituary

KEESEVILLE - Barbara Kitchen's presence was a bright light that touched everyone in her life. Her beautiful smile and gracious ways could take your breath away. You could always count on a light touch on your hand, reassuring you. Her words and advice are to be treasured forever. Some of her favorite words of wisdom are, "it will all be okay" and "things happen for a reason". She had a huge heart and was a very giving person. The most remembered will be the way she looked at all of her beloved family and friends with sincere love and pride...that look could touch you deep in to your heart and soul.. The one thing we want you to know about Barb is her unconditional love for her family and friends. She lived every day with unrelenting zest, she cherished traveling, the holidays with family, yearly family vacations to Maine (how she loved to walk the beach with her beloved John (with the grandkids in tow), water aerobics, dinners out with her close group of friends, morning walks with her best friend Mary, and always baking fresh pies & breads, and keeping the cookie jar full for the grandkids.. Barb entered into eternal life on Monday, Nov. 16, 2015 at her home in Keeseville, N.Y. Her spirit will live on through her husband, John D. Kitchen, their three daughters, three son-in-laws, and six amazing grandchildren; Jeff, Julie (Kitchen), Sarah Beth, and Olivia Abeling; Forest, Kara (Kitchen), Wyatt, and Kade Kitchen-Glodgett; Joe, Kathi (Kitchen), Meya, and Giovanni Caruso; her two sisters, Doris Delzio and Ivy Abbadessa; nieces and great nephews in Florida..
