Anthony (Tony) R. Macey, 84, passed away on Friday, Sept. 6, 2024, with his family by his side. He was born on Jan. 11, 1940, to Leander and Juliette Macey.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Barbara (Trudeau) Macey, his true love. He has two sons, Mark (Michelle), Anthony (Terry); four grandchildren, Tanner, Morgan, Alexandra and Robby and six great-grandchildren. Five brothers, Reginald, Ivan, James (Patricia) David (Josephine) and Roland (Annette); four sisters, Bernadette Putnam, Elizabeth (Joseph) Duval, Carlene (Michael) Cowan and Doris Macey.

Brothers and sisters-in-law, Darlene (David) Hurlburt, Richard Trudeau, Bernard Trudeau, Cathy Clarke, Warren (Cindy) Trudeau and Edward (Beverly) Trudeau and many nieces and nephews.

Tony graduated from Crown Point Central School in 1958 and Minor Agriculture Institute in 1959.

Tony was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the IPCO Quarter Century Club.

He was predeceased by his parents, brother Roger and brothers-in-law Larry Trudeau and Richard Putnam.

Tony was a true family man; he never missed any of the kids sports games. Tony loved the outdoors; camping, hunting and fishing. In his spare time he enjoyed helping family, friends and even strangers.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, Sept. 11th, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Ticonderoga, N.Y. There will be a Celebration of Life to follow at the K of C in Ticonderoga.

Memorial donations can be made in memory of Tony to the High Peaks Hospice.
