Santa Rosa, California - Ann (Schlesinger)Sheppard passed away on Jan. 19, 2026. Ann was born in Plattsburgh, N.Y., on Oct. 26, 1941, to Caroline J. (Schiff) and Leonard Schlesinger, M.D. Ann is mourned by husband Asher Sheppard; siblings Mark Schlesinger and Lynn Schlesinger; daughters Eva and Julia, son Abraham, and beloved sons-in-law, grandsons, nieces and nephews. Ann was predeceased by her parents and brother-in-law Jonathan Nizel.
A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m., Feb. 8th, 2026, Temple Beth Israel, 1 Bowman St. (zoom link available on Temple website). Contributions in Ann's memory may be made to Temple Beth Israel or any charity dedicated to joy, health, or education. Full obituary at www.legacy.com.
